Energy of the Week: Lion’s Gate and Archangel Ariel

Happy Lion's Gate, Friends! Today is a beautiful day for dreaming, manifesting, and calling in that which resonates with your soul. The best part? It's not just today - this energy will be with us all week!

Every year on August 8 (8/8), the Sun aligns with Sirius, the second brightest star in the sky. Since the Sun is the ruling planet of Leo, the sign of the lion....voila! We have "Lion's Gate."

This alignment between our two brightet stars in the sky also coincideds with their alignment with the pyramids at Giza in Egypt, making this aspect that much more powerful. Mix that with the energy of the New Moon that we have in Leo as well...and you just don't have a better time to create, manifest, and envision!

I laughed when I pulled this week's card because of how perfect it is for this week. There are often moments in this work where I am left speechless by the beauty of the cards highlighting for us the perfect message, and this is one of those times. Archangel Ariel joins us this week and the name Ariel translates to "Lion of God." She presides over the animal kingdom and keeps us tied to the Earth's elements. With all that Lion's Gate brings us and the connection to her name...we really could not be in better hands this week.

With the recent energy pushing us toward transformation and the New Moon's reminder of new beginnings, Archangel Ariel is here to remind us that it's a good week for dreaming, but to remain rooted to the Earth while doing so. Connect with nature this week as a reminder - be it Earth (material possesions), Wind (thought), Fire (action), or Water (emotion), each of the elements that sustain life are calling to us this week. Make space and time to dream in each of those areas this week, knowing that Archangel Ariel is supporting you all the way.
