Restoring the Balance

Hi everyone! So glad you have found us! This has been a dream and I can't believe it's finally coming true!

Why create Groves of Zen and why now? With the uncertaintaity and negativity in the world we have a calling to restore the balance, a push to create a sense of harmony, give people a purpose again, let them practice some self care. Groves of Zen will put positivity back into the world for those who want and need it. Starting a business during an unprecedented time is a big ask, but I know in my heart that if Jenny and I make one person on this planet feel calm, joy, peace, or any other positive emotion, it makes it all worthwhile. If we can help one person sleep better, smile again, feel purposeful, understand the world is bigger than the issues in our daily lives, then our goals have been accomplished.

When you come up with a business, you process a lot of feelings and thoughts, especially what's important, what makes you happy. You have to LOVE your name. Let me tell you why I love the Groves of Zen and what it means to me. Whenever we have a planning meeting, work on our services, our website, I think of the things that instantly bring me happiness, calm, and light. Why you ask? Groves of Zen makes me think of my love of nature, trees, water, mountains and hummingbirds. That's where I go to breathe, to fill up my soul, to top off my energy, work through the many issues I face. They are a constant reminder of life for me; past, present, and future. These things help remind me in the face of loss, turmoil, and everyday worries that life goes on...so the Groves of Zen provides me this space as well and I hope you find it a place of healing and comfort too!
