Card of the Week: Radha
First and foremost, I hope you had a beautiful Christmas celebration (or whatever holiday you celebrated this season!)! Staying on the West Coast without the normal holiday traditions that come with travelling back East to be with my family was different, but it definitely had its highlihgts - being able to celebrate with my pup for the first time, having a generally less hectic holiday, and the Southern California weather were all bonuses. Thank the Gods for Zoom which allowed me to connect with my family as we celebrated from three different households. I hope your holiday had some equally beneficial moments, and know that the Groves of Zen is keeping you close as we step out of the energy of 2020 and into the energy of 2021!
On that note, this week's energy comes to us courtesy of Radha, the Hindu goddess who represents the softer side of the Divine Feminine energy. She comes to us this week with the reminder to rediscover a lost part of ourselves. As you look ahead to the new year, what hidden gem that has been tucked inside your heart deserves to be refreshed and brought into 2021? We are being encouraged to look toward the energy of renewal, revamping, and reshaping that which is rising up in us to make its debut (or second debut).
We're also being encouraged to focus some energy on the people in our lives who we love most. Radha carries with her the energy of the soul flame which always brings with it the reminder to cherish the people with whom we are closeet. If things have been a bit rocky as it pertains to those we love, now is the time to remind them how important they are to you and to explore the possibility of rebuilding or healing that which has challenged your relationship of late (and this isn't just romantic love - friendships, coworkers, and other platonic partners are fair game as well!). Radha also brings peace to the hearts of those who grieve, so to my widowed peeps - call on her as needed as we head into the new year which I know is always a challenging time of year.
Friends, take extra good care of yourselves as we walk into 2021 later this week. Explore the parts of you that need to be rediscovered, pour into those we love, and know that we are supported by the beautiful energy of this Goddess this week.
